Costa Rica News – Looks like the Nicoya Municipalities ability to try to get some money out of Mel Gibson might not work as this has hit the news wires. Or who knows in Costa Rica it might not matter.
The Municipality of Nicoya (Guanacaste) has a beef with film actor and producer Mel Gibson over his property.
Nicoya mayor Marco Antonio Jiménez says the Gibson’s property has invaded the maritime zone.
Jiménez adds that Gibson closed off a public road, intending to sell the 500 acre property – including 96 acres land that belongs to the State.
Gibson arrived in Costa Rica with the promise of turning the country into a location for movies.
